First Semi-Final Organised Running Order Revealed

Tonight, the European Broadcasting Union revealed the planned running order of the songs which would have competed in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.

The 65th Eurovision Song Contest was cancelled due the coronavirus, however the EBU has still produced entertainment for Eurovision fans across this week, which was originally planned to be ‘Eurovision Week’, with both semi-finals and the final taking place. Live via YouTube, the first semi-final of ‘Eurovision Song Celebration’ was broadcast which consisted of paying tribute to the songs which would have been shown in the First Semi-Final of the actual contest in the official running order, created by the organisers.

Here was the planned running order of the First Semi-Final of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, which was originally going to take place on Tuesday the 12th of May:

  • 01: Sweden
  • 02: Belarus
  • 03: Australia
  • 04: North Macedonia
  • 05: Slovenia
  • 06: Lithuania
  • 07: Ireland
  • 08: Russia
  • 09: Belgium
  • 10: Malta
  • 11: Croatia
  • 12: Azerbaijan
  • 13: Cyprus
  • 14: Norway
  • 15: Israel
  • 16: Romania
  • 17: Ukraine
