The announcement has been made by the organisers as the Dutch government put a new measure into place which banned all events exceeding 100 people. These measures have been put into place due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus which has caused over 6,000 deaths.
Below is the official statement.
“This afternoon the Dutch government decided to extend the ban of events involving more than 100 visitors until Monday, 6 April. Therefore, Eurovision in Concert 2020 won’t be able to take place on Saturday, April 4th.”
