The stage design of Finland’s national selection, UMK, has been revealed.
The grand final of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu will take place on the 7th of March, live from Finland. Host broadcaster YLE is gearing up for a spectacular show, with six great final songs and of course a modern stage design. The stage is said to feature all of the capabilities of modern show technology.
The sketches were produced by designer Ari Levelä and features ‘clear lines, graphic scenes and precise lighting design provide the perfect setting for UMK20 racing.’
Six songs will compete for the golden ticket to Rotterdam, they are:
- Aksel Kankaanranta – “Looking Back”
- Catharina Zühlke – “Eternity”
- Erika Vikman – “Cicciolina”
- F3M – “Bananas”
- Sansa – “Lover View”
- Tika – “I Let My Heart Break”
The show will be broadcast live on YLE on the 7th of March at Mediapolis in Tampere. The song decision will be made by a 50/50 split of public and jury votes.
