Italy In Eurovision

Italy has a very impressive track record in the Eurovision Song Contest, winning twice and placing second twice and coming third once in the 2010s. They debuted in the contest in 1956, the first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, one of only seven countries to do so. In the first edition of the contest, they were represented by Franca Raimondi who sang ‘Aprite le finestre‘ and Tonina Torrielli who sang ‘Amami se vuoi’. They were last represented by Mahmood in 2019, with the song ‘Soldi’ (Money). They came in second place.
