Albania: Festivali i Këngës Running Order Revealed

The running order for the 58th edition of Festivali i Këngës has been revealed for the two semi-finals, which will take place on the 19th and 20th of December.

Below is the official running order for the first semi-final, taking place on the 19th of December at Pallati i Kongreseve, Tirana. The first ten acts to perform, in order of appearance, are:

  • Nadia & Genc Tukici
  • Sara Bajraktari
  • Devis Xherahu
  • Kanita
  • Kamela Islamaj
  • Bojken Lako
  • Elvana Gjata
  • Aldo Bardhi
  • Renis Gjoka
  • Alberie Hadergjonaj

The next ten artists will perform on the 20th of December. In order of appearance, they are:

  • Kastro Zizo
  • Tiri Gjoci
  • Olta Boka
  • Era Rusi
  • Wendi Mancaku
  • Robert Berisha
  • Gena
  • Eli Fara ft. Stresi
  • Arilena Ara
  • Valon Shehu

The 58th edition of Festivali i Këngës will take place on the 19th, 20th and 22nd of December 2019. 20 artists and groups have been selected to perform during the two semi-finals, who will all battle it out for a spot in the final. The shows will be hosted by Alketa Vejsiu, a 37 year old Albanian known for her work in arts, television and music.

Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest

Albania debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004, represented by Anjeza Shahini with ‘The Image Of You’, finishing in seventh place. They have qualified for the final nine times out of sixteen, with their best result coming from 2012, where they were represented by Rona Nishliu with ‘Suus’, placing 5th in Baku, Azerbaijan. Most recently, Albania qualified for the final for the ninth time with the song ‘Ktheju Tokës’. They placed 17th in the grand final.
