Today, it has been speculated that the provisional list of countries competing in the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest could be released tomorrow.

For the past two years, the provisional list of competing countries in the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest has been released on the 7th of November on the official Eurovision social media channels.

As pointed out by a Twitter user, the list of competing countries has been revealed on both the 7th of November in 2018 and 2019. In 2018, the contest took place in Lisbon, Portugal. Initially, 42 countries were set to compete, but later it was announced that 43 countries would compete in the contest, including F.Y.R. Macedonia – now North Macedonia – (which was first disqualified) and in 2019, it was announced that 42 countries would compete in the competition (which later was reduced to 41 due to the withdrawal of Ukraine).

The release date of the provisional list of countries is still unknown.. We will keep you updated with the latest news via our website and social media channels (@esctakeover).
