Toñy Prieto, the stage director for Melani at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest has revealed details of the staging of Spain’s performance in Gliwice-Silesia.
The staging board which will be respoonsible for Spain’s staging has revealed that the Spanish Broadcaster has ‘hired an English professional, with a lot of experience in Eurovision’. Prieto also revealed that ‘there will be a surprise’ in Melani’s costume for Junior Eurovision.
Other than revealing details on the staging, Prieto revealed information on the choice of artist and the decision to return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest:
‘It was clear that the return of Spain to Junior Eurovision was necessary without a national selection. Melani seemed spectacular to me, she is an impeccable performer… I started looking for videos of her and I thought she was spectacular.
Junior Eurovision 2019
The 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland in Arena Gliwice after Roksana Węgiel’s victory last year with her song ‘Anyone I Want To Be’. Ninteen countries will compete in this year’s contest, they are:
