Blas Cantó has been internally selected to represent Spain at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest.
After a series of Tweets, mixups and instances of miscommunication, RTVE, the Spanish Broadcaster, has finally announced their representative for Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The news was made via a news report. Below is a statement from RTVE, regarding the choice of artist for Eurovision 2020:
‘Blas Cantó is a singer with a broad interpretive and scenic record, a magnificent live show and extensive experience both on television and on stage. In addition, he has the love and support of the fans of the contest that every year include him as one of the favourite artists to send to Europe ‘

Meet Blas Cantó
Born on the 26th of October, 1991, Blas is a musical artist from Spain. He has previously attempted to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, under the boy band AURYN with the song ‘Volver’. Sadly he didn’t make it to Dusseldorf. He has also attempted to represent the nation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2004, placing fourth in the selection.
