Ukrainian sand artist Kseniya Simonova has came third in Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions.
Most notably known for winning the first edition of Ukraine’s Got Talent and being part of the Ukrainian and Moldovan delegation at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 and 2019, Kseniya came third in tonight’s show, held in Wembley Arena, London. Participating against nine other acts, Simonova performed a heartfelt tribute to Princess Diana, who passed in a car crash in 1997.
Kseniya was part of the Ukrainian delegation in 2011, where she performed the sand art for Mika Newton, who performed ‘Angels’ in Dusseldorf. She placed 4th in the Grand Final. Eight years later, Kseniya returned, this time alongside the Moldovan delegation. She performed her art for Anna Odobescu, singing ‘Stay’. Sadly, the nation didn’t pass through the second semi-final, coming 12th. She performed live in 2011 but performed her art pre-recorded in 2019. Below, you can watch her two Eurovision Song Contest performances and her performance at Britain’s Got Talent.
