The official stage design for the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, taking place in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland, has been revealed.
Designed by Giorgos Stylianou-Matsis, one of the most recognised stage designers in Poland, the stage features ‘eye-catching ribbons’, which give the stage a ‘spacious, light and simple design form’. The 2019 contest will take place in Arena Gliwice, Gliwice-Silesia, Poland. The arena has a concert capacity of around 13,000 seats, and is considered as one of Poland’s most modern and cutting edge stadiums.
Meet The Designer: Giorgos
Giorgos is a well-known Polish set designer and producer. His set designs are recognised worldwide, as he has been part of productions such as Hell’s Kitchen, Got Talent, X Factor and many more. He has also created sets for musicians and bands such as Ricky Martin and Sinéad O’Connor.
