On Sunday evening, 18 children performed at the amphitheater in the Grand Park of Tirana (Amfiteatrin e Parkut të Liqenit Artificial) to get a chance to wave the red-and-black flag in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland, at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year. After the performances, Isea Çili and her song “Mikja ime fëmijeri” (My childhood friend) emerged victorious and will represent Albania in their sixth time participating in Junior Eurovision.
Isea Çili has showcased her voice before on Albanian TV. She competed earlier this year in The Voice Kids Albania and made it as far as the semifinal stage.
According to a bootleg video, she seems to be singing a piano-led ballad in B major. However, those who did not see the performance live can watch the professional recording of the entire final on Wednesday at 20:35 CEST via RTSH, Albania’s national broadcaster. Stay tuned and see her alongside the 17 other competing artists who performed Sunday night!
