Meet The Artist: Karina Ignatyan from Armenia

After all 10 songs performed and viewers voted, Karina Ignatyan will now represent Armenia with her song “Colours of Your Dream”. This song’s performance featured her in a white dress singing atop a bloomed flower and butterflies as backing dancers amidst a backdrop that shone primarily blue and purple.

“Colours of Your Dream” live at Depi Mankakan Evratesil.

During the course of the show, 2018 Armenia JESC participant L.E.V.O.N. also reprised his winning song and premiered a new single after a few other acts. The group of participants also joined with L.E.V.O.N. in a rendition of “We Are the World” as performed by the United Support of Artists (USA) for Africa in 1985. Srbuk, 2019 Eurovision contestant for Armenia, also performed a new single. In addition, 2018 JESC winner Roksana Węgiel appeared after the performances for an interview and reprised her winning entry, “Anyone I Want to Be”.

After 2 rounds of voting, runner-up Vardan Margaryan led by 2 points. However, Karina received 50 points in the televoting stage, and Vardan’s 45 points could not catch up to the lead Karina had made. Karina will now prepare for her performance on 24 November in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest final.
