Eurovision 2019: Stage Design Copied?

It has recently come to light that the stage design from this year’s Eurovision Song Contest has been copied.

Florian Wieder, the stage designer of this year’s contest in Tel Aviv, has been accused of plagiarism of stage design. German company WHITEvoid has previously used a similar design back in 2014 for the Brazilian Luan Santana stage.

Speaking to Eurovision World, Florian has explained the inspiration for the stage design. He states that his main inspiration was the Jewish Star of David and WHITEvoid wasn’t his main inspiration for the event. Take a look at both of the designs and tell us your thoughts below:

DUNDU has also made claims that the staging for Spain this year was copied.

Good artists copy, great artists steal but then the result should be better and not poorer than the original.
