Eurovision Song Contest Released on Netflix

The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest has now been released on Netflix US.

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest, the semi-finals and finals have now been released on the US version of Netflix, popular paid streaming service. The EBU confirmed the news on the 19th of July, also stating that next year’s contest will also be available via the service. The show also features closed-captions, for both the songs and speaking parts in the show. The captions also provide English lyrics from foreign-language songs.

Jon Ola Sand spoke on the arrival of the contest to Netflix, ”U.S viewers will now get to enjoy all three of this year’s fantastic shows for the first time as well as the entire Contest in 2020. This is perfect timing with plans to launch a US version of the Contest in 2021”.
