BBC Alba announce their broadcasting plans for Eurovision Choir 2019.

Today BBC ALBA have officially confirmed their broadcasting plans for their debut edition in Eurovision Choir. We already know that the broadcaster has established a special choir for the contest who will participate under the name Alba. Although their performance pieces are not known at the moment we are sure to be given a taste of Scottish culture.

BBC ALBA start off their Eurovision Choir preparations on Thursday the 1st of August when a special one off documentary following Alba on their Eurovision Choir journey will be aired. It will feature a interview with BBC Commentator Graham Norton, we will also get a sneak peak of the Welsh choir Ysgol Gerdd Ceredigion. You will be able to catch the documentary on BBC Alba at 9pm.

BBC Alba will then broadcast the live event, live from Gothenburg at 7:30pm on Saturday the 3rd of August. It is yet to be revealed if the broadcaster will send a commentator for the event however it’s significantly likely as the broadcaster usually broadcasts in Gaelic.
