Italian broadcaster RAI has confirmed it’s participation in the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
RAI’s press department have confirmed today that Italy will be participating in this year’s Junior Eurovision. The show will be broadcast by Italian Children’s channel RAI Gulp.
Italy at Junior Eurovision
Italy debuted at Junior Eurovision in 2014, where it won with Vincenzo Cantiello. Since then, the country has participated consecutively, their last entry being ‘What is Love’ performed by Marco Boni & Melissa Di Pasca. The song came in seventh place with 151 points.
Junior Eurovision 2019
The JESC 2019 will be held in Gliwice, Poland at the Arena Gliwice on Sunday, the 24th of November. So far, 18 countries have expressed their participation in this year’s edition of the contest, those being; Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Spain, France, Wales, Georgia, Italy, Ireland, North Macedonia, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine.
