Czech Television has not taken any decisions about taking part in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019. In this moment we do not consider the Czech Republic as a participant. The Czech Republic has never taken part at the event, and joined the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, only qualifying 3 times. They are one of the least successful countries in the contest but recent years have seen significant success for the country with a 6th and 11th place finish in the past two years with Mikolas Josef and Lake Malawi
